Can Allergies Cause Cloudy Head Feeling

Refined Carbs And Sugar

Can allergies make your head feel weird?

While people may initially fall into eating sugar because it helps to stimulate and wake up the brain, long-term and chronic intakes of refined carbs, white flours, refined sugars, and corn syrup can lead to glucose problems as well as systemic issues with yeast overgrowth, also known as candida albicans. Two of the main issues associated with yeast problems can be fatigue and brain fog, and whether theyre specifically caused by yeast or not, the brain typically responds better to diets with balanced levels of protein and healthy fats, and not those that are dependent on huge amounts of refined and empty carbs.

Eat this instead: Instead of refined sugars, choose sweets that use natural sweeteners instead, like raw honey or coconut sugar, which have less of a glycemic impact than cane sugar. Limiting sugar is also essential, but sugar cravings will diminish or lessen when protein is eaten with every meal. If you must have carbs, choose vegetable, fruit, and nut-based carbs so that youre balancing them with fiber and plenty of other nutrients.

Take A Brief Break To Reboot

High workplace stress levels are a force to be reckoned with, especially if they become chronic. If you notice your work productivity dropping, step back and consider taking some time off. Your brain needs time to rest and replenish, so that your output can remain as high as ever, despite rising fatigue and stress in the mix. If your brain cells are running on empty, youll only risk even greater stress and thicker brain fog, so dont let it happen, for the sake of your physical and mental health and future financial safety.

Brain fog is an increasingly common problem nowadays: all work, a low-quality diet, and little play can take a heavy toll on brain cells, which is why you should be aware of the symptoms of brain fog and the best way to put an end to the issue as soon as you detect it. Dont take confusion, mental fatigue, concentration hitches, and memory problems lightly.

It is up to you to take action to stay on the sharp side before the fog becomes too thick to handle. From the team at Lucid be smart, and do your best to stay that way. After all, you only get one brain per lifetime, so try to keep it fit!

In case you couldnt tell, we at Lucid are passionate about body betterment, neuro-enhancement, productivity & focus. To be kept up to date on any other blogs or infographics, add yourself to our community mailing list.

How To Treat An Ear Infection

Lying down with the ear that hurts facing up, with a heated pad on top, may help relieve the pain of an ear infection. This is because gravity helps the fluid from the ear drain into the throat. Also, the heat from the pad helps keep the drainage site open.

Taking OTC pain relievers can also help ease the symptoms.

Antibiotics may help treat middle ear infections, especially in young children and people with weak immune systems. However, draining the ear by lying on the correct side will help stop the condition from recurring and prevent a ruptured eardrum, which could happen due to fluid buildup.

happens when muscle tension radiates to the head. A person may also experience shoulder or neck pain.

Tension headaches tend to come on slowly, getting worse over time and causing pain throughout the head and sometimes a feeling of pressure. Very bad tension headaches can also make a person feel dizzy.

What Causes Allergic Rhinitis

You have an allergy when your body overreacts to things that dont cause problems for most people. These things are called allergens. If you have allergies, your body releases chemicals when you are exposed to an allergen. One such chemical is called histamine. Histamine is your bodys defense against the allergen. The release of histamine causes your symptoms.

Hay fever is an allergic reaction to pollen. Pollen comes from flowering trees, grass, and weeds. If you are allergic to pollen, you will notice your symptoms are worse on hot, dry days when wind carries the pollen. On rainy days, pollen often is washed to the ground, which means you are less likely to breathe it.

  • Allergies that occur in the spring are often due to tree pollen.
  • Allergies that occur in the summer are often due to grass and weed pollen.
  • Allergies that occur in the fall are often due to ragweed.

How Heavy Head Is Diagnosed

Since there are so many causes of head heaviness, its important to see your family doctor and receive a diagnosis.

When evaluating your condition, your doctor will likely take into account your family history, symptoms, and past medical history. They will also probably order some tests to help narrow out certain conditions or ailments. These tests could include simple blood tests, brain scans , and hormone tests.Your doctor will also perform a physical examination. If they cannot diagnose your condition, they may send you to a neurologist for further evaluation. Your doctor may also prescribe certain medications that may help, including pain relievers, or recommend certain over-the-counter medications such as aspirin.

Consider Immunotherapy Allergy Drops

Allergies Are DebilitatingWe Can Help! Aspire Allergy & Sinus

While allergy medications provide short-term relief from symptoms, and often lose their effectiveness if overused, immunotherapy is a more long-term approach to allergy fatigue treatment. Immunotherapy slowly introduces the body to more and more of the allergen it is allergic to so that it builds up a tolerance and no longer reacts as strongly. Allergy shots are an older form of immunotherapy that are very effective, but this treatment has some associated risks and requires frequent office visits. Allergy drops are just as effective but can be done easily from home with daily drops under the tongue, making this one of the best ways to manage and eliminate allergies causing fatigue.

The Real Cause Of Seasonal Allergies

Most people blame pollen or mold spores for their seasonal allergies, but these arent the real cause at all.

Allergy symptoms are actually caused by an overactive immune system.

Your immune system produces substances known as antibodies that protect you from unwanted invaders that could make you sick or cause an infection.

When you have allergies, your immune system makes antibodies in response to exposure to things like pollen, dust, or pet dander that it perceives as harmful, even though they arent.

Its not the exposure to allergens that are the root cause of your allergies, its your bodys overreaction that causes the cascade of allergic symptoms.

How To Treat High Blood Pressure

It is important to talk with a doctor about high blood pressure, as making behavioral changes and taking medications, such as beta-blockers, can help.

A person may find that managing stress or eating less salt can also help lower their blood pressure.

When To See A Doctor

If youre saying to yourself my head feels heavy, you may also be wondering when that feeling is severe enough to go see a doctor. While head heaviness is usually not in itself a serious concern, it could be a sign of something worse, like cancer or liver disease.

While you should always see a doctor if you have head heaviness, here are some factors that should have you going to the doctor as soon as possible:

  • If your head heaviness is accompanied with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or gastrointestinal upset
  • If youre having chest pains or heart palpitations
  • If youre experiencing other symptoms unrelated to your head or neck
  • If you have previously suffered from a concussion, head injury, or whiplash

If your head feels full, its usually not a sign for major concern. Most of the time, when your head feels heavy, there is a simple cause behind your discomfort. Anxiety is linked with a feeling of heaviness in the head, which is why a variety of natural, at-home treatments can help. However, you should still see your doctor to rule out more serious conditions.

An overactive immune system, the real cause of seasonal allergies, can lead to brain fog and a lack of focus. Learn natural allergy relief strategies that work.

Besides the usual sneezing, coughing, and itchy and watery eyes, seasonal allergies can leave you with serious brain fog.

This means an inability to concentrate and focus, fatigue, irritability, and even depression.

Its during spring and fall that seasonal allergies are most likely to flare up, making these otherwise enjoyable seasons times to be dreaded.

Typically, people with allergies seal up the house and try to stay indoors.

Then they try one of the myriad over-the-counter antihistamines.

Many are forced to go the traditional medical route of prescription medications or allergy shots.

But disturbingly, prescription antihistamines and even OTC remedies can cause memory loss and contribute to dementia.

Fortunately, there are natural and more effective ways to cope with seasonal allergies.

How Do Allergies Cause Fatigue

Yes, allergies can make you feel tired. Most people with a stuffy nose and head caused by allergies will have some trouble sleeping. But allergic reactions can also release chemicals that cause you to feel tired. These chemicals help fight your allergies but also cause swelling of your nasal tissues that can make your symptoms worse. A lack of sleep and constant nasal congestion can give you a hazy, tired feeling.

Experts call this fatigue caused by allergies a brain fog. Brain fog can make it difficult to concentrate and carry out school, work, and daily activities.

If youre experiencing the effects of brain fog, there are some things you can do to feel less tired. First, youll need to stop the cycle of allergy symptoms and fatigue. You can try:

How Are Your Ears Affected

Our ears are made up of three parts the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. Allergic reactions can cause the outer ear to itch or swell. The middle ear contains the Eustachian tube, which acts as a drainage tube of sorts. When mucus clogs the middle ear it affects that drainage. Pressure builds, which can lead to discomfort, popping in the ears or an earache. Your middle ear may itch as well. The inner ear is filled with fluid, and if this fluid becomes infected, you may suffer dizziness, ringing in the ear or loss of balance.

Sometimes a stuffy nose and sinus pressure can radiate to the ears, causing pressure or earaches.

Some people experience a short-term hearing loss due to an allergic reaction. This is known as conductive hearing loss and usually is temporary and resolves itself when the allergies subside.

Young children commonly experience middle ear infections, which may be triggered by allergies. These infections are known as otitis media. If these occur often, a professional may recommend allergy tests.

Constant Swimming Head Feeling

Dec 12, 2015 | Anxiety dizziness

Q: Even when I think I am not anxious I have a weird constant swimming head feeling Bit like dizziness but not. Sometimes I feel off balance when walking.

This feeling is particularly bad when I have to sit still. I find it feels like a rush in my head when sitting and if I dont get up and move I will passout.

There seems to be no reason for this feeling and Im trying to think of what it could be. Blood sugar? Anxiety? I am terrified it is a brain tumour even though I have felt like this for three years now.

You might have vertigo, which can be caused by a liquid and crystal imbalance in the inner ear. Google the Epleys manoeuvre on YouTube, try it and see if it helps you.

Sometimes dental issues, such as wisdom teeth can cause vertigo-like symptoms, even if youre not experiencing dental pain. So if the Epleys manoeuvre doesnt work for you, consult with a dentist and explain your concerns.

From an energy healing perspective, dizziness happens when your energy is swishing and swirling all about you and you are caught in the middle of it. Energetically you need something to secure you.
